SAAHSP, the South African Association of Health & Skincare Professionals was established in 1972 with exceptionally high standards for their endorsement. SAAHSP remains the most respected standard in South Africa.
CIDESCO, the Comité International d' Esthétique et de Cosmétologie is based in Zurich Switzerland and is the foremost international examining body in the profession which is represented in over 35 countries.
CIDESCO is held in the highest esteem everywhere in the world. It is seen as the international passport to success in the profession.
ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) is an independent examining body based in London England which is recognised in many countries. ITEC courses are designed to be taken in modules so that students may choose to study selected modules one at a time or in combination, and at their own pace. We offer the Beauty Specialist Diploma as well as the Hairdressing & Barbering Diploma through ITEC.
There are no entry prerequisites for ITEC Qualifications, these qualifications are tailored towards the following individuals:
- School leavers without grade 12 beginning a career in Beauty Health & Skincare.
- Those changing careers to Beauty Health & Skincare or Hairdressing & Barbering whilst working elsewhere.
- Those wanting to start their own business from home in Beauty Health & Skincare or Hairdressing & Barbering.
- Professional therapists or stylists needing to update themselves
